courses for women
All
of our courses are for mixed sex groups, however if you
would specifically like a female guide, you can ask for
this on your course booking form. Even if you don't request
it, you may be guided by a woman anyway, as about a quarter
of our guides are female. Below are some of the women
on our guiding team, a mixture of IFMGA and UIMLA guides.
It is usually possible to assure you of a female guide,
as long as you are not booking last minute, when work
is already scheduled. If you are part of a group of women,
who would fill the ratios of a course, such as 2 women
looking to book a Technical Ice and Classics course, you
can request a female guide to have a course run solely
for women by women. All our course accommodation is single
sex (apart from couples booking together), but note that
any evening instruction sessions in Chamonix are always
mixed sex groups. |
